POTOMAC SPECIAL EISP SIGNED AGGREEMENT
NOVEMBER 1, 2013
Verizon EISP Update -
The CWA Bargaining Committee has been meeting with Verizon in Philadelphia for the last two days to try and reach an agreement on an enhanced EISP package. An agreement has NOT been reached and Bargaining will continue into next week. As new information is available we will put it out as soon as possible. If there are any specific questions please call the Local.

Verizon has contacted CWA to enter into negotiations over an Enhanced EISP offer that would be different than the contract. These negotiations would happen throughout the month of October. Verizon has expressed hope that an agreement would be reached by the end of October. The total surplus the company has mentioned throughout the Potomac region is 360. The job titles that have initially been mentioned include:
Cable Splicing Technicians
Service Technicians
Special Services Technicians
Clerks
Live Source Operators
Maintenance Administrators
Please understand that this list is not official and could change at any time. Bargaining could also affect the list of titles, number, locations and conditions of the EISP.
